Rupert and the frog song July 10, 2008 S. James Nicholas I am giving this film 5 stars, due to the fact that my 18 year old girlfriend LOVES this film, from when she was really young till now, she puts it on atleast once a week and watches it without blinking an eyelid. She is in total ablis, no control over anything happening around her aslong as Pual is singing those joyess ryhms. Infact, she is watching it now and has no idea that i am writing this, but as to my amusment, i find it very pleasing to do so. This is not a joke as i am totally meaningfull of my 5 stars that i am giving this film.
Dance to the Frog Song February 26, 2004 Suzanne Downer (England) 12 out of 12 found this review helpful
Paul McCartney's "The Frog Song" inspired my two year old daughter to learn to dance and to sing. From the first time she watched it she was totally captivated by the rhythm of the music. It was, in fact, the first time that she had shown any interest in dancing. She then joined in with the chorus and I heard her sing for the first time. It was actually just a mumble, but as she had not spoken very clearly up until this, it made me realise that music was the way forward for her. pMy daughter sat very close to the screen, so not to miss anything and held her teddy bear tightly, making sure that he could see just as well. When the chorus started she held the teddy bear high in the air and made him dance in time with the music. pI had hired the video from the local library and was still hiring it on a weekly basis for six weeks. It would have paid me to have bought it then. pI now teach children with special needs and I know that this would help many of them learn rhythm as well as enjoy the story. I am therefore placing an order today for something that I should have bought in 1990!
