 Great program, but if it doesn't work, it's useless... November 29, 2008

As i saw in review from another coustomer (about the non-Ultimate version), the problems with Ulead Video Studio remains in the new version. br /I HAVE VIDEO STUDIO 9 (German Edition). br /I like it and i would like to buy the new version, because of the new possibilities, which i need. br /BUT: I do not only have the same problem, which is not being able to finish the DVD, but i have the problem also also to "start" it. br /When i try to import a DVD, i receive the message "Failed to read DVD information. Report ID: 0x80040901(2305). br /I have 2 computers (WinXP Pro) and i installed/uninstalled them more than 20 times since July 2008 to resolve the problem in BOTH of them, but even if the program works fine for few days, then, suddenly the problem appears again without installing other programs to my computer in between. br /Pity, because i like this program and i was hoping to buy the new version, but now i am afraid i will have the same problem. br /First, due to the order i installed my system, i thought that the problem could have been caused by the WinXP SP3, but now i think this is not the case. After installing SP2, i installed the Video Studio and all the rest of my programs, and it worked. After few days of testing, i installed SP3 and it worked again for some days. And finally.. today again it doesn't work. In BOTH computers. Well..I did nothing and unfortunately ULEAD, or COREL remains still about this bug, instead of resolve it with a patch, and in the meanwhile i know that it is a very common bug for many users. br /I am not saying that ULEAD/COREL is necessary responsible, but i think they have to resolve the problem, or give us a new working version for free. br /I would like to download the trial of Video Studio Pro Ultimate to see if this version works fine or not, but they demand from us to give personal informations like.. Name and surname (!!!), and i think this is at least unacceptable! Email should be enough! br / br /P.S. I have the same problem with Movie Factory 6, when i try to import a DVD.
