Highly recommend the Zune! November 23, 2008

I was recently in the market to upgrade my no-name, cheaply-made 1g mp3 player, and was originally going to get an ipod nano. I researched both and decided on the zune. Wireless sync is FANTASTIC, and I like being able to sort my music by artist, album, genre, or design my own playlists and autoplaylists. I'm also a little addicted to the social. Bonus features are the easy-to-read displays, custom backgrounds, radio, videos, file-sharing... the list goes on! Now I just need to convince my husband that I need an 80g too!

Ye, I know it's not an iPod and yes it is made by Microsoft but if you can get past that then the Zune is really a great MP3 player. Wireless sync and sending are brilliant and well executed, and the desktop software is stylish and easy to use. The whole social paradigm sets the Zune apart from other players. br / br /I haven't used the 80GB but the 8GB is perfect for at the gym.The main drawbacks I can see are the lack of Apple compatability which is unlikely to arrive soon and the lack of DivX support. It would be great to able to watch my television shows on the way to work. All of the main accessories such as cases and charges are available, however more third party support would be nice. br / br /Good job all around though, and a nice feeling package. Hope to see you in the social
