Gets dad up off the couch; kids have a hoot! January 15, 2008 Keith Hanlan (Ottawa, Canada) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
This game is, quite literally, fun for the whole family. I can beat my [...] now but I'll bet that with a bit of practise, they'll start trouncing me. My 12 year old gives me a run for my money. Basically, the game is a great equalizer. br / br /For each song, there are four difficulty levels. The easiest is easy but the next level up is quite tough initially. I would have never believed that the top level is humanly possible until I watched a well-practised (and talented) young friend bopping around on her XBOX version of the game. Wow! She was flying. So, it *can* be done but I doubt I'll ever reach that level. br / br /The only problem that I have with the game is that one chooses the character before choosing the dance. If you want to take turns with a single mat, you have to go (B)ack quite a bit, reselect the other character, and then navigate forward again. The end result is too much delay between the actual dancing. br / br /Aside from that minor quibble, it's a lot of fun. I kept my 12-year-old up late last night so that I'd have an excuse to play. Pretty silly for a 44-year-old father.
Dance Dance, Where's the Party January 5, 2008 J. Lizotte 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This game may be okay for people whom are unconditional fans of the "genre" but the performances and the choice of soundtracks really are a let down. br / br /I had more fun playing with Raving Rabbids 2 in the music modes than this game. Still, the execution, graphics sound quality are all up to par. br / br /Hope they can make it up by finding some real party tunes as were present in the Raving Rabbids game. br /
Great fun, great game! December 10, 2007 Anatole Manniste (Montreal, Qc) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Lots of fun, real DDR game, works with any made-for-gamecube controller as well if you need additional mats. The Hand Markers (a Wii-exclusive!) are somewhat hard to master at first, but once you get it down, they add a whole new dimention to the game! Definately recommended!

I would very much like to give this game a great review. Unfortunately, I can't seem to get one at the original price , anywhere ! What's up with the Nintendo people that they are'nt supplying the stores with the merchandise ?
