After you finish the campain what do you do for the next few year? Play Mulitiplayer. br /Multiplayer, in GOW2 is Great, but when you can play it. You have to wait to long to play.... too long 15 to 30 minute... br /My recomendation rent the game play campain is fun, but do no buy it keep play multiplayer in GOW 1. br /

I had super high hopes for this game and they were crushed. Maybe its filler for GOW3. There is a good story. But all in all its an ok game and ok playing experience. br / br /Im not sure why they changes they feel of the game. Not as much duck and cover as the old one. The Lancer is the end all be all gun for the game. The other guns are crap comparatively. But I do like the mortar! br / br /In what universe do miniguns overheat? This is stupid. Run out of ammo sure! but overheat is the reason there are 8 barrels on it! And no minigun needs to spinup to shoot. Ive shot the 6 barrel GE, point click 200rds in a instant! br / br /Also like #1 its incredibly short! br / br /They could have done so much better with this game but IMO its really just GOW1.5. br / br /

Ya know I was hoping that this game would be pure shotem' up just like the Halo series, but no, they put in silly individual tests (much like in interchanging levels like Crash Bandicoot) that are repetitive BORING! I mean ENOUGH ALREADY! This type of play is for children, they make this an adult game...First you have to fight nemacysts, screaming blind deaf banshees, wretches, exploding wretches, gigantic spiders now mortors, skitters, exploding skitters, worms, fish, Skorcher????HELLO!!! EPIC! GET WITH THE PROGRAM WERE ALL ADULTS HERE! br / br /Other than that, the game is good, just get rid of the childs play you will be BETTER than the Halo series. Graphics are above par (if Halo is the bar) the blood guts are above par, the head shots YEAOZZZA!!!!Gotta love the Longshot head shots! br / br /

Unbelieveably awesome visuals (read: inside the worm), a great storyline, and the same easy to use controls that made the first Gears of War so popular make this, in my opinion, one of the greatest video games ever made.
