Jeff Dunham cd December 3, 2008 This cd is very funny to listen to. Also didn't take long for it to arrive. br /Thanks
Felt kinda suckered by this December 2, 2008 megolfer (LA (Lower Ala)) Bought this at the same time I was getting a couple of his DVD's. Actually thought this was another DVD when I bought it. Didn't find out until I received it in the mail and noticed it looked funny for a DVD. Went back online and sure enough it said audio CD. Not really very prominant when it was listed with his DVD's. If I had paid attention when I was buying these I would have definately passed on this. His is a visual act and not being able to see the interactions with the characters really cheapens this. My fault for not checking close enough when I bought it but never expected an audio CD of a visual act. Oh well, live and learn. If it ever comes out as a DVD I'll buy it again.
Love the funny... December 2, 2008 Philip G. Garcia (El Mirage, AZ United States) Very funny except now we'll have to deal with poliosis, hope it isn't too epidemic...
Jeff Dunahm Christmas... edited!?! November 29, 2008 DJS (Indianapolis, IN United States) Ok. I understand that this is a Christmas album, for family (maybe?). What I do not understand is why is Peanut censored on track 5 "Song for Jeff" at the very end when Peanut says Jeff is his B!TCH. Very disappointing. If this cd was going to be censored it should have been label so. br / br /Otherwise a great cd which is fun to listen to over and over again.
I love Jeff Dunham's act, but... November 26, 2008 Justin Other (Newport News,VA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I have his last 3 DVD's, and no matter how many times I've seen them, I can't stop laughing every time that I watch them. This CD, however, is a different matter. As far as the content of the songs, they are what they are, like them or not. It's the voices that seem way off - I can't tell you how many times I had to look at the CD case to tell who was supposed to be singing. The voices, which are consistent from DVD to DVD, seem to all sound alike on the CD. The seem to blend together, and it detracts from the songs in a big way. When you watch the DVDs, if Jeff's with one of his characters, it almost seems like there are 2 (or 3) individual people on stage having a conversation, not 1 person speaking for 2 (or 3) of them. On the CD, they all just kind of sound like Jeff Dunham, not his individual characters. It seems like it was quickly put together to make a buck, rather than perfecting the voices to match those that we know and love. I wasted my money on this one...
