Wow this is free? September 16, 2008 Reviewer Azam Ali and Niyaz's (she is the lead singer) tracks alone make this worth buying. Six Degrees is a small, eclectic label and this is a pretty good overview of their music. I am less into the techno beat stuff, however.
Blew up my stereo September 7, 2008 Jon H. Lehmann 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Great price (free) with some interesting tunes. Watch out for the song Aegean Dub. It has an overpowering bass line that was engineered by terrorists! I only had my stereo cranked halfway and that bass thing blew out the fuse in my receiver. I didn't know that was even possible so be careful, the song is evil.
Not Bad, with this free sampler. September 6, 2008 Public Enemy (Usa) These are really good songs, i was truly surprised, the nice thing is that it was free, ive discovered new artists im interested in. br / br /Its worth the download.
Excellent sampler of World Music/Electronic beats August 21, 2008 M.M. (VA, USA) Six Degrees is probably the most recognized label in the US that produces World Music. The Sampler focuses in Asian and Middle Eastern influenced music with a touch of Electronic beats. Most of the tracks are from recent releases. I highly recommend Azam Ali, who also sings in Niyaz. Endless Reverie (actually a Remix) stands out in this compilation, while it has a very electronic vibe it preserves its ethnic sound.
Surprisingly decent album August 3, 2008 Alex Alban (Springfield, MA USA) This is a surprisingly decent album considering it's free. I have a collection of 3100 mp3's, and have deleted countless others for being unworthy, every track in this album got 5 stars except for Katskills which I gave 4 stars (a very respectable score considering I think I'm quite a tough judge of music) . The album is free to download so there's nothing to lose, you might even like it.
